Denouncing idolatry has always been the mission of the prophets and the Church. Today we no longer speak of the god Baal, but there are other great idols in our time: money is a god,power, luxury, licentiousness. How many gods are enthroned in this environment! And the voice of Hosea is still contemporary today: Don't mix these idolatries with the worship of the true God.
