Hogar Infantil La Gloria is one of the ministries of the Augustinians in the West Coast. It is an orphanage located about 13 miles south of the U.S./Mexican border. It is the full time home for about 50 children, who have been abandoned or removed from their families for a variety of reasons by the Mexican Social Service Agency, DIF.Hogar Infantil La Gloria does not receive any financial support from the Mexican government. We depend on your donations and appreciate your contributions. There are many ways that you can help.
Much of the food used at Hogar Infantil as well as all of the clothing, shoes, baby supplies, school supplies, and toys are donated. Donations can be brought directly to Hogar Infantil or dropped off in the San Diego area. Please contact us to schedule a donation.
Monetary contributions are needed to help fund the day-to-day expenses of the orphanage. Your support allows us to employ round-the-clock caregivers, pay utilities, and provide for the many incidentals that arise when raising 50 children.
